We all know Britain’s finances are in a mess following 13 years of wasteful spending by Gordon Brown.
Our national debt has soared to the highest in history and will reach the equivalent of £23,000 per person up from £550 in 1997.
The Conservative party will act to bring spending under control. We will cut out waste. Labour's own advisors have identified billions of pounds of savings that Labour won’t implement. We will start immediately, so that we can reduce the deficit, while protecting services and encouraging business.
