Barnton Hotel update
Cllr Kate MacKenzie recently asked the listed building planner to visit the hotel to look at the security (or lack of security) of the building and surrounding fence. Cllr MacKenzie then asked Lindsay to join her a couple of weeks later on a visit to see if the security had been upgraded as promised by the developer. Kate and Lindsay were horrified to see a group of young people who had entered the derelict building by a side door and were seemingly unaware of the perilous nature of the site.
